I just enconded a 200-page selection of the Escolios para un texto implícito, the sprawling collection of aphorisms by the Colombian philosopher Nicolás Gómez Dávila (1913 - 1994), into the annoying syntax used by Vim-Startify’s fortune file.

Now every time I open Vim I get a cowsay with a bleak aphorism by the great Colombian anti-modern.
